Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is elected by the Eliot House unit owners and is responsible for overseeing the business of the Association, including setting policies, planning finances and providing for the operation, care, upkeep, maintenance and improvement of the common elements. The Board is composed of nine unpaid volunteer unit owners, also known as Director’s. Directors are elected for two year terms with approximately half of the Director’s up for election each year in November. The Officers of the Board, which include the President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary, are elected by the Board and serve for one year terms. The Board also elects two HOA representatives and two HOA alternate representatives which can include both Board Members and Unit Owners. The Board can also form separate committees for various projects which include a Board Member as Committee Chairperson and Unit Owners. Typically committees consist of five members or less.
